Bradford Charity Food and Drink Festival, Banqueting Suite, Valley Parade

The event will feature stalls from a wide variety of suppliers, cookery demonstrations and family entertainment.

Weekend of April 25th
Minute’s silence at all matches played in the Football League, Premier League, the WSL and the FA Conference from Friday April 24th. to April 27th. inclusive. Statement from Bradford City FC and an appeal for PSBRU in the match-day programmes of all games. County FAs are invited to consider a minute’s silence at all fixtures played over the same weekend.

Home game vs. Preston is designated a ‘Cap Tie’, where the special designer caps will be worn with pride. All other cap wearers welcome too. World Record Attempt for most flat caps at one location.

Bucket collections at both the FA Cup Semi-finals at Wembley, conducted jointly by City Supporters Board, the University of Bradford and the West Yorkshire Fire Service

Thursday April 23rd.  7.00-10.00 pm
An Evening with John Hendrie. At the Octagon, Riddlesden. Organised by Bradford City Supporters Trust. Proceeds split equally between PSBRU and other BCST causes.

Performances of ‘the 56’ by the FYSA Theatre company at the Alhambra Studio, Bradford

Sponsored walk by John Duckworth, BCFC kit-man, from Bradford City FC to Lincoln City FC, and back again, to arrive at Valley Parade c. 2.00pm on Apr 25th, before kick-off, a total of 162.4 miles.

Friday 24th April 2015(11-3pm) and Saturday 25th April (12-4pm)

Exhibition on the Fire Disaster at the Bradford Police Museum, City Hall, featuring the community response, and those police officers and civilians who received Gallantry Awards for their actions on the day. Admission proceeds to PSBRU.

Sponsored walk by Barnsley FC Supporters Trust and West Stand Bogs (fanzine), 23.9 miles from Barnsley to Bradford, arriving at Valley Parade c. 2.00 pm, before kick-off

Publication of the 200th Edition of City Gent, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary Commemoration. £1 per copy to PSBRU.

Thornton Grammar School fundraiser to commemorate the two students from the school who lost their lives in the fire, Craig and Ashely (Jane) Stockman. Events include: dress code, City colours / football shirt; bake sale; commemorative items; competitions; penalty shoot out; raffle

‘Valley Parade: The Bradford City Fire Remembered’ – a one hour special  broadcast on BBC Radio Leeds at 12.00 pm and on BBC Radio 5 live at 8.00 pm.

Radio Documentary/coverage of Memorial Service by Pulse Radio, Bradford

9.00-12.00 pm BBC Radio Leeds & Lincolnshire will be hosting a simulcast show – broadcasting the Memorial Service live from Bradford’s Centenary Square.

6.00 pm the ‘Valley Parade: The Bradford City Fire Remembered’ programme will be repeated on BBC Radio

6.00 pm. ITV Callendar covers the Memorial Service

9.30pm TV Documentary by BTSport ‘One Day in May’.  Free to Air on all channels carrying BTSport.

Unveiling of Memorial Plaque at the Football Museum, Sao Paolo, Brazil. Arranged at the initiative of the British Embassy, Brasilia.

Charity dress-down day in aid of PSBRU, Morrisons HQ, Bradford

Farfield Primary & Nursery School are holding a non-uniform day  with a “Wear Claret and Amber” theme and donations being collected for the PSBRU fund.

Saturday May 16th

A Day in May From 1.00 pm Live music and art festival held at Delius Lived Next Door.  Free to members of the public. Mix of live music, acoustic and wired, ranging from Americana, Rock and Swing to Original Roots Ska; bringing together local bands with headliners – Phunk and Disorderly. Proceeds to PSBRU.
